The drawing ability you possess is wonderful! I only critique photography and that's why I clicked on this. I thought it was a photo! The anatomy is spot-on and nothing seems out of place. Not only is the blending and value beautiful, but the setup of the drawing is captivating. As a horse owner and lover, I can see the connection you worked towards and it exists perfectly. The two look like the best of friends. There is a glow to their outlines that make them stand out against the dimmed background. It is certainly evident that you spent hard work on this and paid attention to every detail.
